La Carpeta Ciudadana simplifica y facilita el ejercicio del derecho de acceso a los ciudadanos al ofrecer un punto de acceso unificado donde consultar toda su información, mejorando así las relaciones de los ciudadanos con la administración, fomentando la eficiencia, la transparencia y favoreciendo que los ciudadanos puedan controlar qué datos personales suyos obran en poder la Administración.

La Carpeta Ciudadana, servicio desarrollado por la Secretaría General de Administración Digital, es el área privada de los ciudadanos en su relación con la Administración que ofrece un punto de acceso único desde el que se puede conocer y acceder a sus datos, con la posibilidad, si es de aplicación, de obtener un justificante o certificado de los mismos y conocer el uso que las Administraciones Públicas realizan de ellos, al visualizar la información que se transmite entre administraciones.

Los datos ofrecidos se encuentran agrupados en diferentes temáticas: educación y formación, residencia, trabajo y jubilación, salud y asuntos sociales (ingreso mínimo vital), situación personal y familia (ayudas maternidad o paternidad, jubilación), vehículos y transportes, vivienda y función pública (para los empleados públicos).

Consultas desde Mi Carpeta Ciudadana: consultas de datos personales iniciadas por el usuario desde la propia Carpeta Ciudadana sobre cualquiera de las temáticas anteriormente indicadas: educación, formación, residencia, trabajo, asuntos sociales, etc.
